We introduce you one of the newest hostels in the gorgeous city of Lisbon. Open since November 2007, the Lisbon Old Town Hostel is a dream come true in the life of two enthusiastic and experienced travellers.
As pure Lisboners we will make sure you feel the soul of our city and fall in love with it. Information is something we can always provide according to your own wishes and desires.
The Hostel is located in one of the 7 hills of Lisbon, in a 18th century building, renovated to guarantee you have all the comfort you need. The facilities consist in 8 spacious dorms (10, 8, 6 and 4 beds), 2 twin beds room, 4 WCs (total of 10 hot water showers, 6 toilets), 4 common/social areas (with Free internet and WiFi, small library, Radio, DVD player and cable TV) and 2 fully equipped kitchens.
Ah! Can't forget our own private Balcony to enjoy the warm summer nights under the stars!
The cleanliness of the hostel is a priority for us, as well as providing a free delicious good morning breakfast, making sure you are strong and ready to enjoy Lisbon to the maximum.
From Old Town, you can get to all the essential sites in a short walk, as well as to all the transports - 5 minutes walking from two different Metro stops: Baixa/Chiado and Cais do Sodré - that take you to the most famous attractions in the surroundings of Lisbon. The 'epicentre' of Lisbon's Nightlife is just around the corner; there's no way you can miss it or miss the hostel after!
To sum it up, if you are looking for a central place where you can chill and have fun, there is no doubt Old Town is your Spot in Lisbon! Old Town provides you all the cosiness of your own home, in harmony with a friendly and social environment. You will feel the good vibes from the moment you arrive.

From Oriente Train Station and Santa Apolónia Train Station(we recommend you to go out in this one, instead of Oriente):
1 - Catch the Metro to the Station 'Baixa do Chiado'.
2 - Follow the instructions in 'From Metro'.
From Airport:
1 - Catch Aero-Bus 91 (leaves every 20 minutes), direction 'Cais do Sodré' and go to the end. An alternative is to catch the Bus number 44 (from 05:05 to 24:00) or 208 (from 23:30 to 04h30), to the same place.
2 - Once out of the bus, you have to walk up the steepest street: 'Rua do Alecrim'.
3 - Turn on the second street left: 'Rua do Ataíde'.
4 - Go straight until you are forced to turn right.
5 - Go up and feel the good vibes. Lisbon Old Town Hostel is the green door in the end of the street, on your right.
From Bus Stops: Sete-Rios and Oriente (both have metro station):
1 - Catch the Metro to the Station 'Baixa do Chiado'
2 - Follow the instructions in 'From Metro'
From Metro (from 06:30 to 01:00):
1 - Go to the Station 'Baixa do Chiado'.
2 - After crossing the ticket control follow the direction 'Largo do Chiado'.
3 - Up the stairs, turn right and walk straight until you reach a big square with a statue in the middle: 'Luis de Camões Square'.
4 - Keep on walking straight in the street that is on the left site of the square: 'Rua da Horta Seca'.
5 - When you reach the end, turn left and go straight, the street's name is 'Rua das Chagas'.
6 - In the end, turn left and go down. The Green Door in the big white wall (check foto) is the door for a nice accommodation in Lisbon. Ring and expect a big smile a good welcome.
