This is Lisbon Hostelis a true Portuguese house full of charm, where tradition and comfort meet perfectly. We are located in the Castle hill, with a great terrace that provides an amazing view over Lisbon’s rooftops, the perfect place to relax after a wonderful day in Lisbon. Here you will feel the Lisbon touch!
Our hostel is a newly restored and redecorated XIX century building. We opened in August 2010! To guarantee comfort and cleanliness, we renovated all facilities, including the bathrooms and dorms. We also installed heating systems in every room. To keep the original character and unique atmosphere we restored the original lovely wooden floor and door arches and used the traditional Portuguese mosaic.
This is Lisbon Hostelis a charming hostel with seven rooms, that sleeps a total of 34 guests. Each room is named and decorated after a Lisbon theme: Sardinha, Miradouro, Tejo, Fado, Pessoa, Azulejo and Saudade. To give you the best choice, our rooms are all totally renovated and newly refurbished, with new top quality mattresses, central heating and enough space to make your stay a pleasant one. We have private rooms, with private or shared bathroom, as well as dorms with different dimensions and prices. Bed linens and duvets are included in the bed price.
In Portugal, the living-room and the kitchen are the heart of the house, where the day begins and where in the end of the day family and friends meet to relax, to eat or just to talk! Here you will find all the amenities to start your day, beginning with a free continental breakfast, information to prepare your discovery of Lisbon, as well to end your day, like the big sofa where you can lay down while meeting people or drinking something from the bar! The common kitchen is fully equipped with kitchenware and basic cooking ingredients. We also organize at the hostel traditional Portuguese Dinners, for you to have a chance of trying home-made dishes, as well as concerts with Portuguese Live Music, namely Fado, and Wine Tasting!
Our huge terrace is the hostel must! Here you can relax and sunbath, while reading a book, writing a postcard, sharing your experiences or just appreciating the view over Lisbon and the bells of Graça Convent. It is the perfect spot to rest after a busy day in the city.
We also have computers with free internet access as well as free wireless internet in every room. And our 24-hours Reception will be here to help you with everything, giving you precious information about Lisbon, booking you a Free Tour or a Night Walk in Lisbon, or just sharing with you some of our best hidden secrets!
